We had a wonderful visit today with all our family, including the part we have recently reconnected with. They came to church with us this morning, and we had a great service. Beth and I both sang. Here’s the one Beth did…..On My Cross:
I did They Could Not, by Sandi Patty. I have not been able to find a video for that song.
Matie was just amazed that everybody at church knew about her and they were so friendly to her. She got hugged by everybody….multiple times. She really felt loved. Our church is like that.
After church we went to my sister Heather’s house.
Heather and Bill have just remodeled their kitchen and it is just gorgeous. We like country decor. They took out all their cabinets and replace them with 3 antique wood work tables that they had been collecting. One of them has a pipe pot rack on it. Then Bill built a matching cabinet that looks like the tables, to house the sink, dishwasher, microwave and some storage. They put a Silestone counter on it. The upper cabinets are actually not kitchen cabinets – they are made to sit on a table or chest. But they mounted them to the wall, and there is a ton of storage in them. The sides and fronts are glass, so she lined them with fabric.
On the opposite side of the room, she has double refrigerators and a huge free-standing cabinet she uses for their dishes. It has sliding glass doors on the front. And they bought a commercial size range that is just beautiful. It all turned out extremely well.
They also put up a punched tin ceiling, a new porcelain tile floor, and all new lighting and wiring.
Click on the pictures to enlarge. 1) The first is Justin and Heather, and the new range. 2) Next is her double refrigerators. They are just normal sized refrigerators, but they are much cheaper than huge, commercial sized fridges. 3) The dish cabinet. 4) The sink cabinet.

Do you know Him?
